Department selection committee will fill 1462 vacancies and district selection committee will fill 1276 posts.
State government of Andhra Pradesh is all set to recruit candidates to fill thousands of vacancies. Nearly 3,048 recruitments are approved by the finance department.
It is found that there are 1276 teacher vacancies in municipalities which will be filled through DSC. Another 821 vacancies are identified in various universities and these will be filled soon too. Transport departments have got an additional of 392 posts. These posts and another 287 posts in various departments will be filled by Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission.
Approval is also given to fill 604 posts in APSRTC. In June this year approval was given to fill 57,304 posts. There were proposals from various departments and thus these vacancies are also will be filled.
Recruitment procedure will begin after obtaining zonal wise information of vacancies, roaster points, qualification and other things. APPSC will fill the 287 posts through direct recruitment, 1462 posts will be filled through department selection committee and 1276 posts through district selection committee.
one senior stenographer in commissioner of civil supplies, 50 assistant section officers in secretariat GAD, 12 assistant directors in Handlooms and textiles department, 2 junior stenographers in public prosecutors officer, High Court, 16 legislative officers, 11 research officers 18 assistant commissioner of labor in commissioner of labor. 46 bill collectors, 15 revenue officers in commissioner director of municipal administration 46 assistant executive engineers in public health and engineering in chief department and 24 sub registrant grade ii posts in revenue department are included in the posts that will be filled by APPSC.
Around 1462 posts will be filled in various departments through department selection committee. These posts include 51 assistant engineers, 15 assistant professors in Ambedkar university-Srikakulam, 38 assistant professors in Acharya Nagarjuna University, 7 professors in the same university, 119 professors; 200 assistant professors; 128 associate professors in Andhra university, 110 assistant professors, 95 associate professors, 63 professor, 6 craft teachers, 3 lecturers, 72 deputy superintendent, 182 mechanic trainees, 169 traffic supervisor trainees are included.
