hi Admin i want to clarify one doubt if we spend 4 hours per day for preparing group 2 how much time it will take to complete the syllabus preparation plzzzzzz enlighten me on this update through comment.......... Thanks in advance Lakshmi Manoj and give suggestions for preparing.................

4 hours per day is plenty for G2 preparation, but constant dedication is necessary if u plan 4 hours, and also quality of mind is very important in this regard, divide syllabus into parts and tackle each part finish it and then next one and last Revision is the best option for better score

any thing about appsc rws exam 24/2012 they called for certificate verification but they called surprisingly in 1:3 ratio

the qualification creteria is not met by many, so as backup plan APPSC called 1:3 ratio, but if it founds suitable candidates in 2 parts only, the third part is not considered, there is no interview also i think..

qualification is diploma or be or btech but all are having any of these but why they are calling these many

Hello Jayaram, the maximum age for APPSC General Candidates is 32-34 years, it varies from notification to notification. Your are eligible for Both Group 1 & Group 2 (try executive only in Group 2 Category, as you are already in technical job naa), AEE, Junior Lecturer Posts, Polytechnic Lecturer Posts etc..
The type for Posts in Group 1 & Group 2 are in below link:
http://appscgroup.blogspot.in/2013/04/posts-under-group1a-and1b-merger-detaisl.html

Plz go through syllabus of the G1 Prelims and Mains - u will get some idea
http://appscgroup.blogspot.com/2013/02/appsc-group-1-prelims-and-mains-syllabus.html

Regarding Topics - Complete General Studies- As it is common to all exams conducted by APPSC and carries 150 marks with no negative marking.

Analyze the Cutoff mark of different G1 exams, SO that u can know wat is the competition level of the exam.
http://appscgroup.blogspot.com/2009/09/appsc-group-1-cutoff-marks.html

So give highest preference to General Studies Paper- GS 2013 TMH Manual & Vijetha G1 Prelims books will help u in this regard; Read Hindu and one current affairs magazine every month to be updated with events around the world.

Hello Kishore, Yes you can write group 2 , and its qualification is any degree(even for group 1 the qualification is any degree only).
The structure of Group 2 is best known from going through the below link:
http://appscgroup.blogspot.com/2014/02/2.html

Executive posts are best prefered, but recently government merged Group2 Posts with Group1 posts and renamed Group 2 Executive posts as Group-1B.
But it has not been implemented so far, though GO has been passed.
The details of Group 1B as passed by GO are below the link:

Regarding coaching institutes i really have no idea about Vijayawada. I hope some on in this forum will surely answer in near future, so keep visiting, as many seniors visit the blog.

Try to read every article in this APPSC Guidance Page, it will surely give broad view of Groups and how to prepare:

The material I am uploading is not so organised, but u cant rely exclusively on English Medium, a mix of Telugu and English materials yields good result. Our Blog is still in developing stage and we will surely upload English medium material soon, but don't rely on entirely on internet for material. Refer to standard books and previous papers also. The material and notes here are only for reference, which will give u a rough idea about what to study and which topics are important. By the way I am also from Engg background, found it difficult to grasp the topics of groups in beginning, but keep trying with continuous dedication u can surely make it.....
